My unique home-based program offers high quality early childhood education custom tailored to your child's development. With a teacher:child ratio of 1:5 (max) I can truly offer the holistic care, nurturing and optimal learning experience that young children need and deserve. This also allows us the freedom and flexibility to shape our day around the needs of the individual. Adventure awaits!

I believe that children learn and grow best in environments that are optimized to support their unique needs as individuals. At the heart of this belief is an understanding that a strong, caring, and positive relationship between children and their caregiver is the foundation of high-quality personalized education. Here at Greenwood Preschool I keep our teacher:child ratio extremely high, with one teacher for every five children. As a result the teacher-child relationship takes centre stage and the distinctive needs of the individual can be met more thoroughly than in a larger childcare settings. I strive to offer home-based early learning that is comfortable, considerate, calm and nurturing so that your child can truly thrive.

Outdoor Play + Education

With a seasonal garden, mud kitchen, nature-inspired sandbox, climbing wall, small pool, Montessori Pikler and much more, our private outdoor play space is a little slice of kid-friendly paradise.

The natural world is our playground! In addition to our outdoor play space we access areas of Toronto's Don Valley for land-based play and learning. Children will have repeated opportunities to engage with and build meaningful relationships with the land at Evergreen Brickworks, Todmorden Mills, Wilket Creek Park, Taylor Creek, The beaches + more!

Emergent Play Based Learning

Tailored to the interests and skill level of your child. Designed to support ongoing learning and development

Our indoor learning space is designed to feel like home. Here children will have access to everything you would find in a traditional preschool setting including: dramatic play, immersive art experiences, sensory play, open-ended loose parts and other building materials. We strive to create a calm, comfortable and soothing environment without the overstimulation that is sometimes found in larger group settings.
